What data we will collect
When you join GWHC, we will collect personal information about you including your name, date of birth, email address, postal address, telephone numbers and emergency contact details. We ask you for your preferred playing position and your GWHC should you currently have one.

Additionally, in case of accident or emergency, we collect your doctor’s name, surgery address, any drug allergies you may have, any current illnesses and any medication you are currently on.

After registering or joining you can update your personal information by logging in to the Club system at http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/graveshamwellcome/

Why we will collect it
We will collect and process your personal data to enable you to play or umpire hockey. We will process the data on the basis of legitimate interests as the data is solely used for the provision of opportunities to play and officiate hockey.
We collect minimal health-related data so that we have relevant information to protect your safety and health should you be injured while playing or officiating hockey and need emergency treatment.

How long we will keep it
We will retain your personal data as long as you remain a member of GWHC. If you resign from the club or cease to be a member for any other reason then your data will be retained on our membership system for a period of 3 years.

Your rights
You have the following rights under the GDPR
• The right to request a copy of any personal information we store about you
• The right to request any inaccurate personal data corrected
• The right to request erasure of your personal data
• The right to object to processing of your personal information

Storing your data
We use an England Hockey approved system, Pitchero to manage all club data and the data is securely stored on their systems. Further details of the Pitchero privacy policy can be found at http://www.pitchero.com/privacy-policy

Sharing your data
In addition to the third party (Pitchero) mentioned above, we also may disclose minimal personal data to payment providers when you request to buy products or membership.

Who can access your data
Only committee members have access to your data .

Complaints or concerns
If you have any concerns or complaints in relation to how GWHC collects and/or processes your personal data, you should contact the Club Chairmen or Captain.
If you are unhappy with how your concern has been handled, you have the right to report your concern or complaint to the Information Commissioners Office (www.ico.org.uk)
